Emma has started to do many things since we last updated this blog. In late august she was trying to stand. by eqarly september she was standing. She greeted me one morning when she woke up with her head over the crib- imagine my surprise!

Then she started crawling a couple days later on Septmeber 4th. and the next day she got her first two teeth. I think she wanted to get it all in right before i started work again!

A couple weeks later she was walking around her crib holding onto the sides of it. the first time i saw this she was in her crib at night and I was watching her on the video monitor. I was shocked. She does this sometimes around the house but moreso in her crib still.

I just love this photo- isn't Emma just beyond precious!

This is my friend Matthew, I hang out with him and his mom, Jen when my mom is at work. We have so much fun together.
Mommy really wanted me to show dady how I crawled. So she used this toy to get me to come to her- does she really think i don't know what she is doing.

Emma is growing up so fast! We have been sooo busy... these are pictures of Emma standing. the first set is a play by play. She started trying to stand in late August and finally pulled herself to stand on September 2nd. ( She actually did not crawl until a few days later) we thought she might skip crawling altogether.

Emma is growing up so fast! SHe is so strong and is still scooting around more than ever. SHe pulls herself up to crawl and then gets nervous when she start rocking ( because of previous face plants) she used to cry to get us to take her out of her crawl position, but now she just pullsout on her own. Once I saw her pull herself from a crawl position to a sitting position.
I think she got Ryan's musical abilities. The other night on our way home from her cousins birthday, she started to cry so we sang "twinkle, twinkle little star" to her then she hummed it afterward. When she finished humming it she cried again. So we sang it once more after we finished she hummed it again!

Emma at 3- 4 months

Emma is almost 4 1/2 months old. I have not been able to keep up with this blog because I went back to work. but it is soo fun to put them on here and show her off to you all. She is such a sweet little baby and so much fun. We are finding her to have a shy personality, at least at first when she meets someone. She tends to just stare at you for a while. But these pictures are proof of her dazzling personality.

She is scooting around all over the place and pulling her legs up underneath her and scooting back. I just put her on the floor to type this and when I looked down she had done a quarter turn. We just hope she waits until summer to crawl. Because then I will be home to baby proof everything.

She is an angel of a baby. she is just very cute and loving already. She kisses us and her doll. It is so fun... I hope you enjoy the pictures
